Ministering in Sultanate of Oman
  
Brother K. Wilson wrote to us about ministering in Sultanate of Oman. He is a teacher in this Muslim country and he is trying to reach the unreached to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. He writes that there is a church in the capital (Muscat) but in the interiors they only have small gatherings in their houses. Right now he has a small assembly of 20 members made up of house maids, garbage pickers, nurses, lab technicians, and construction workers.
"They come to prayer meeting after coming from their work place at 10pm; see their zeal for the Lord. I will go to them traveling 365 km by taxi from a place called Sur to Muscat every Wednesday after my school. Kindly pray for them as they are working in the hot sun, you must be knowing the heat in Gulf countries. Some of these brothers were convinced and they are ready to take baptism. It is difficult to take all of them to the sea (Gulf of Oman) and give baptism."
Please keep this small ministry in your hearts and prayers as well as his wife (Shanti) and 3 children (2 have become born again believers while the family is still praying for the 3rd.)

"I would like to request prayer for my brother Aaron Patrick Fields. He has been experiencing seizures for the past five years and is currently being treated by a neurologist. He has been in and out of the hospital over the past three months.
However, by the stripes of Jesus, I decree and declare Aaron healed now in the spirit, and his body will line up with the Word of God and manifest healing in the natural. For Jesus was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes, praise God, Aaron was healed! I thank God in advance for this miracle.

My nephew Johnny who is 56 found out he has cancer this past week.
He had a mole removed about a month ago and it turned out to be cancerous. He is meeting with a specialist on Wednesday to discuss the options. They said it is melanoma cancer, from the sun. He has surface skin cancer on his hands and the lymph nodes in his neck were cancerous from the mole that was cancerous on his neck… it was deep. They told him it is in the advanced stage, so please be in prayer for him and the family. We have had a couple of ruff years, but I do know God is in control and I know what prayer can do.
So thanks in advance for your prayers.

DoD Announces Change in Status of Army Soldier
The Department of Defense today announced the change in status of a soldier supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom from missing-captured to deceased.
The armed forces medical examiner confirmed on March 29, human remains recovered in Iraq were those of Staff Sgt. Keith M. Maupin, 24, of Batavia, Ohio.
Maupin had been listed as missing-captured since April 16, 2004. His convoy came under attack by individuals using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire on April 9, 2004.
He was assigned to the 724th Transportation Company, Bartonville, Ill.
